hi friend!

what’s the plan?

you are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.

C.S. Lewis

hi, i’m sofi

and I’m planning my way through life. My plans don’t always work out and most of the time I’m planning for things I don’t actually want to do. Instant gratification is funny like that – it feels good while it’s happening but it doesn’t usually get you where you want to be. I’m finding the strength & inspiration to stay focused on my dreams while still enjoying life.

Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty. No kind of life is worth leading if it is always an easy life. . . I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life; I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.

Theodore Roosevelt

my wildest dream is to…

change the world.
do something meaningful.
learn everything possible.

let’s celebrate

New beginnings, wildest dreams, & big adventures! Flying solo – but making friends along the way – makes the journey more exciting. Navigating life means planning for turbulence along with the clear skies & smooth sailing.

Plans are nothing; Planning is everything.

Dwight D. Eisenhower

work hard, party easy

In that order. Life isn’t always the party you planned, but the show must go on! Make the most of every situation even when it doesn’t feel easy. Don’t forget – even the smallest victory deserves a celebration. Find every chance to earn a party!

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

Aristotle

find balance

Set goals and commit to them. Stay flexible and adjust when needed. Never give up and you will always win, even if it’s not the trophy you were originally after. Build on achievements and learn from mistakes.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal – it is the courage to continue that counts.

Winston S. Churchill

enjoy the journey

Stop and smell the roses, freshly brewed coffee, or custom essential oil blend. Take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures that make everyday life worth living. Invest in some (figurative) rose-colored glasses to get through the days that don’t feel worth it. Find meaning in every breath you take. Every experience has a purpose and should be commemorated.

What lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
